Working on some design ideas inspired by Italian and French Architectural Windows from the Renaissance. This piece was completed in March, 2022, I just didn't get a chance to post until April.

Portraiture is a complex art form. On its surface it presents a likeness of its subject. Embedded in these renderings are the relationship between myself and the subjects presented. My works are mementos and a means of self-expression of peoples I have met and places I have lived. I work with ink and paper manipulation. I intentionally render faces with a minimal amount of detail to keep memories as ethereal as possible.
