The Shieldmaiden: Valkyrie

 

My most recent works center around the theme of the shieldmaiden, influenced by Norse mythos. I am planning a series of five pieces. This is the third piece in the series, The Valkyrie. I am going to be taken a bit of a break for the last 2 and revisit the theme of Spring.
