Portrait of Tatiana

Just finished this piece. I worked from a photo I had taken of Tatiana (I don't remember her last name). She was my Russian tutor when I lived in Irkutsk, Russia. We have since lost track of each other, but I have fond memories of my time in Russia and some photos of the people I met, that from time to time inspire my work. Tatiana has classic Slavic features and that brought to mind my time in the Czech Republic and visiting the Alphonse Mocha Museum.
