Little Girl in Blue Sun Chair

One of my favorite paintings to look at while I was get my Master's degree in Painting & Drawing at UNT was at the Dallas Museum of Art, Mary Cassatt's Girl in Blue Armchair. I just moved and was going through some photos of my niece and her friends sitting in the back garden and I came across one that so reminded me of Cassatt's painting that it inspired me to create my own version of a little girl sitting on a hot summer day just trying to cool down. My version is Little Girl in Blue Sun Chair.
